graduation

Graduation day has come!

1st grade is right around the corner.

Good job Cayson. We are all so proud of you!

Splashing fun

Today we had a great time at the splash pad!

Cayson had fun running around and cooling off after his baseball game.

He of course enjoyed spraying me when I wasn't looking.

We will definitely be frequenting the splash pad this summer!

Baseball

Cayson is playing ball again, coach pitch this time.

He is doing awesome!

He is learning quickly and most importantly, having a great time.

He looks forward to his games and seeing his teammates.

We are with a really great team this season and it's going to be hard when the season is over.

Next season he will be playing in city league which will be more organized, a little closer to home and with kids in our area.

We are really proud of Cayson and how hard he is trying!

Best Friends

I think its safe to say these boys are BEST FRIENDS!

I'm 6!

We had an impromptu combined birthday party for Cayson and Carly.

Cousins came and they played at Chuck-E-Cheese for hours.

We let Cayson pick out his presents this year but then he had to wait to get them until his party. I think the waiting for his presents was more torture for him then waiting for his party. When he woke up today he said he felt older. I guess its been so long for me I don't remember feeling one year older! He's a big 6 and I can't believe it. Its been 4 years since I celebrated a birthday with him for the first time. Time goes by so fast. 2 more years and he will be baptized. I am so proud of my big boy!!!

Summer Vacations

We spent 3 fun filled days in San Diego playing at the beach and going to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World. Cayson had a blast seeing all the animals, watching Shamu and eating lunch with Shamu. Cayson played on the beach every evening and loved chasing the waves! We were home for 1 1/2 days before leaving for Idaho.

Cayson had a great time at the cabin. We spent 8 days playing with cousins, going to the water park, visiting Yellowstone and seeing buffalo and elk, quad riding, going on hikes with Grandpa, playing with the "big" boys, playing with the dogs, canoing on the lake and on the river and seeing the bears at Bear World. Going to the cabin is something he looks foreward to every year!

Circus

Tonight was Barnum and Bailey's Circus and Cayson loved it. We went to the pre-show and got to go down on the floor and meet the performers, get autographs and see the animals up close. Our seats were on the 4th row so we actually got to interact with the clowns during the show and were right there for all the action. His favorite parts were with the dogs doing tricks and the elephants. He was also very mesmerized with the magic in making people and animals disappear. He is so excited to go again and we can't wait till the next time they are in town to see it again!
