Halloween!

Cayson had fun trick or treating with Connor and Cash. They sat and ate tons when we were done. Until next year!

State Fair Fun!

Fun at the state fair! Cayson had fun going on the rides with his cousin Jade, eating ice cream, looking at the animals and winning toys. Somehow he didn't fall asleep in the car on the way home.

Finally figured it out!

Cayson has finally mastered the art of bike riding! YAY!!! He got a new bike with training wheels and loves riding up and down the street. He still stops and can't start easily but he's getting the hang of it. He loves his bike and matching helmet. Such a big boy!

Preschool

School has started again! For Cayson's first day of school Mama Sarah and I took Cayson to school together. Although I really loved his preschool he went to last year, I really think the new one will be great. He's with the school district so its an actual school with classrooms and kids that will hopefully go to kindergarten with him next year. He's getting so big!!!

San Diego

Cayson and his 9 year old cousin Sara, Grandma Ann, and mama Sarah, took a trip to San Diego. Cayson loved the sea lions at sea world because they were so loud, and he was scared of the sharks because we went under their tank and watched them swim above us. But he loved just playing in the beach at the cove we stayed near. We went near the water a few times with only intentions of getting shells and Cayson always found some way to get as wet as possible. He went all week with out sponge bob and he colored so much and never got sick of his sponge bob leggos, but he really missed his DVDS. It was cool air and allot of great times with monkey Cayson, he really is so good at making everything fun and always being able to make me smile. he is a very sweet spirit but all of you guys already know that. I just really loved having him with me.

Our second summer home

is the swimming pool. This boy loves to swim. He is finally able to stay above water without floaties...yea! He is becoming fearless, jumping in the pool from the sides and taking off across the pool by himself. Next fear to conquer, holding breath under the water!

Warning...little boy NUDITY! We went swimming at grandmom and granddad's house today and unfortunately a storm cut swimming short. It didn't cut playing in the water out completely though. He started out in underwear and ended up naked...this kid is great!

Utah trip

Its bedtime! Cayson's new obsession...dressing Brindle in pajamas. It is pretty funny.

She's so patient with him...

Cayson's a protective brother!

Cayson is a VERY protective brother, here are some of the new things that he does...

-If someone stops to look at her while she's in her car seat he pulls the canopy over to cover her up and tells them "Don't look at MY baby!"

-If I set the car seat down somewhere and walk away I normally find him trying to pull it and walk yelling "You can't forget Carly!" to me.....like I would forget her!

-When I burp her..."You can't hit her so hard," (while pulling my hand away) "You have to do it like this."

-When we go swimming..."I'll teach you to swim Carly but you have to put your face under water, like this..." and "Don't drop her cause she's not big enough to swim yet."

-And MY favorite....When he's sitting on the couch with her and Brindle trys to sniff or lick them he yells "No Brindle stop begging (bugging) us. You shouldn't lick us, we don't taste good!"
